Most parents watching their child play are watching the wrong things. The goals. The mistakes. Whether the coach looked happy at the end.
The things that actually predict where a player is heading sit in plain sight and go unwatched. What they do before the ball arrives. What happens to their game when they get tired. Whether their touch under pressure matches their touch in space.
I've spent fifteen years watching players - from kids to professionals - and a lifetime watching football.
My job is seeing what's actually happening on the pitch.
What you send
Up to three minutes of footage. Match or training, or a mix of both. Filmed on a phone is fine. Wide enough that I can see the player and some of the space around them.
One or two sentences of context. Age, position, current level, and what's on your mind.
What you get back
A voice note from me within three days. Usually eight to twelve minutes long.
What is genuinely strong in what I'm seeing.
What is holding the player back, and whether it's something to work on or a growth phase that resolves on its own.
What I would focus on for the next few months, and what I would leave alone.
If something in the footage tells me more about the environment around the player than about the player, I'll say that too. It happens more often than parents expect.

Parents of players aged 8 to 17 who want an independent view of where their child actually is.
Players aged 16 and over who want an outside assessment of their own game.
Anyone outside London, or outside the UK, who can't get to an in-person session.
Who this is not for
Anyone wanting a technique breakdown of a single skill. This looks at the whole player.
Anyone wanting confirmation their child is good enough. The assessment is honest, delivered kindly, and sometimes not what a family hoped to hear.
Anyone wanting me to say whether a player should carry on. I assess the player and the environment. That decision stays with the family.

Fifteen years of community coaching in one of London's most diverse boroughs. Hundreds of players, every background, every developmental profile.
A professional playing career across two football cultures, Europe and Africa. Each one supports and fails a player differently. Knowing how both fail is where the assessment starts.
Current private work with professional players at international level. The framework is the same for an 11 year old and a senior international. What changes is the load.
