Who made this

I played professional football for over a decade. I played alongside teammates from more than twenty countries.

When I moved into coaching, I realised I'd been missing something the whole time. Coaching is different to playing. A player has to perform for you. A coach has to create the environment where a player wants to perform.

After years of coaching, making mistakes, studying the research, and refining what works - I've built what I know into this single, practical resource.

Is this only for coaches at diverse academies?

Not at all. If your squad has even two players from different cultural backgrounds or different learning approaches - which covers almost every squad in the UK - this resource is relevant.

I'm FA qualified. Is this too basic for me?

This covers material that isn't on any FA badge pathway. FA qualifications focus on technical and tactical knowledge. This resource focuses entirely on the human relationship between coach and player - a completely different domain.
